Reputation Management

Do you have a problem with a few loud mouths on the Internet?

Even after years of excellent service and quality products, a single negative listing can diminish your reputation to the public. Listings such as a negative product review, or customer service complaint (whether legit or not) can be detrimental to your brand and can affect your sales substantially.

To understand how this often works, we will use the old legend of Pop Rocks and Coke. When this candy was first introduced in the 1970's, there was a lot of excitement around this new fizzy candy. Soon after, there were rumors circulating around the grade schools and high schools around the country about how Pop Rocks mixed with Coke could cause your stomach to explode. There were mythical stories of the "kid" who did this and had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Teachers overheard these stories and passed them on to parents. Worried mothers then started contacting the news and the press and soon General Foods, the makers of Pop Rocks, had a reputation problem.

These rumors propagated much the way the negative comments on the Internet are spread. One person makes a comment on a blog or on a website, and others soon read the comments and then link to the original comment, or make an additional comment and the process continues until there are thousands of complaints and links to the original complaint. Before you know it, the negative complaints are suddenly more popular than your own website and you have a big problem on your hands.

"People have every right to say anything they want...
as long as it's on page 2!"

We can downplay the problem so when customers do research on you or your products or services, they see only positive information on the front page. 90% will never click to the second page because of their trust in the accuracy of search engines. Even if they do click to the second page, the credibility is diminished due to their low placement.

There are sometimes when freedom of speech seems to go too far. This is when complaints and comments are fraudulent and outright lies. There are even companies who lure in angry customers to solicit their negative experiences, and then charge the victimized companies (starting at $20,000) to remove the content no matter if it is true or not. This is outright fraud!

We are able to use our marketing capabilities to promote your company and take up all the other spots on the front page of the search engines so that you are represented properly. This will boost confidence in your company and ensure the sales and maintain your good name that you expect on the internet.

We specialize in MLM companies and larger companies who serve millions of people and have a large customer base that is active in commenting about products or services.

The key to this is to start early, and set up an early detection system so that the "loud-mouths" never even make it to the front page. Once the listings are there, it is often much more time consuming to move them off the front page, rather than keep them off in the first place. However, if you already have this problem we need to begin this process immediately to mitigate this negative press.
